The sound waves created are difficult for the human brain to follow, surrender and you will drift into a tranquil, meditative state. During a session, you are invited to be comfortable, lying on your mat with blanket and pillows. A gong bath is an immersive sound experience, where you are bathed in sound waves, sound frequencies clearing stress stored in our cells. This creates balance between your parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems, which allows the saturation of resonate tones to penetrate every pore and within every cell of the body. In this space of total awareness there is opportunity for these resonating sound waves to revitalise the immune and central nervous systems and work on any organ or part of the body that is unbalanced, allowing harmony by process. Another effect you may experience is the cleansing and clearing on an emotional level, freeing yourself from anger and negativity you might consciously or unconsciously be holding on to.       <image:title>ABOUT - ABOUT ME</image:title>
      <image:caption>I enjoyed my first yoga class many years ago. After practising different styles of yoga and experiencing the profound effect it had on me, I knew I had to share this wonderful way of life. I qualified in 2008 in Hatha &amp; Vinyasa Flow in South Africa. On arriving in the UK, leaving my corporate life behind I happily moved into alternative healing therapies, studying and practising Reflexology and Reiki. I find Sound Healing with gongs &amp; crystal singing bowls is the most wonderful way to de-stress, balance and re-connect with ourselves. I qualified as a Sound Healing Practitioner with Sheila Whittaker in Devon in 2018. I also utilise crystals and tuning forks to clear energy and stimulate self-healing. Our bodies contain energy and sonic frequencies, which through certain therapies may be re-aligned when we are unbalanced. I live in Cornwall which I love and enjoy the abundance of energy and balance my yoga, playing the gongs and healing therapies bring me. I would love to hear from you. Tish</image:caption>
